Northern Weekend Ahead

Scotty Thiel leads Jake Blackhurst into this weekend's Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series events by a mere three points heading into one of IRA's most traditional weekends, as the series travels north for Superior’s Northern Nationals, and the Jerry Richert Memorial at the highbanked Cedar Lake Speedway. 2016 IRA Champ Jeremy Schultz is just 80 markers back as the series hits its' September championship stretch. Of course IRA stars Bill Balog, Scotty Neitzel, Steve Meyer, Russel Borland, Kris Spitz, Scott & Dave Uttech, Wayne Modjeski, Mike Decker, and MANY more will be on hand. $3000 to win Friday at Superior, and the $5000 winner's share Saturday with the enhanced purse, and the prestige associated with the Jerry Richert event, is now drawing some of the top names in all of sprint car racing. for the weekend. Sammy Swindell, and Kerry Madsen are in for the weekend, Jon Agan and Alan Gilbertson are in for both night’s too. Brooke Tatnell, Mike Reinke, and some others indicted they'll be there atleast Saturday. More names will be added throughout the week.
