Hartmann rounds out 2025 with Plymouth top 10
(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) October 1, 2025 – Austin Hartmann and the 87A Hartmann Racing Team capped the 2025 campaign on a positive note in Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car Series competition during the eighth annual Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships at The Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis., on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The Plymouth, Wis. driver opened the night by qualifying 13th in the 33-car field with an 11.821-second tour of the third-mile semi-banked clay oval.
After starting on the pole of the first IRA eight-lap heat race, Hartmann wound up second to earn the 13th starting position in the 30-lap Rick Schmidt Memorial main event.
Hartmann turned in a steady performance throughout the A main, racing near the top 10 before surging in the final laps to notch a solid 10th-place showing. It was Hartmann’s fourth top 10 A-main showing of the 2025 campaign.
"We started the night alright," Hartmann said. "I felt like we unloaded with speed, just missing something. The heat race went alright. Anyone who saw that…well, they saw it. The feature felt snug right off the bat. With a full fuel load, I felt like I needed a softer throttle spring to roll the bottom better, but to cap off the season with a 10th place run, we’ll take it."
Hartmann capped his fourth season of 410 Sprint Car action with four top-10 main event showings, one B main victory, four IRA dash appearances, and one fast qualifier award in 27 events.
The 87A Hartmann Racing Team raced a diversified schedule in 2025, competing 16 times with the IRA, while also entering a total of 11 additional events sanctioned by the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws, Kubota High Limit Racing, Midwest Open Wheel Association, and Knoxville Raceway.
Hartmann wrapped up the 2025 season with an 18th-place showing in the final IRA point standings, while competing in 16 of the series’ 23 completed events.
