Hall of Fame Inductees 2017
The IRA would like to congratulate all the election recipients on their election to the Southeast Wisconsin Motorsports Hall of Fame, however we specifically want to put a big shout out on the election of IRA's Gil Radtke, and the late Mike Frost. Radtke is the area's safety pioneer in regards to track safety crew leadership and has spent over four decades devoting his craft to our sport, and we're proud to say he's still going to be working select IRA events this year. Frost was an outstanding MRA Modified racer at Wilmot who moved up to IRA Sprint Cars and had a extremely successful career behind the wheel for many years before becoming a car owner, making a potent combo with driver Travis Whitney. The Frost #88 machines were always as good looking as they were fast. The annual induction ceremony is held in the fall of each year, this years will be on November 4th. Congratulations to Gil & Donna and the entire Midwest Safety Team, and to the Frost family and everyone associated with #88.
