2021 IRA MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE NOW, DISCOUNTED TIL THRU MARCH
2/27/21 Memberships, for all 3 IRA Divisions for the 2021 season are available now, and discounted if purchased by the end of March. Membership forms can be found on each respective division’s website under Rules and/or Driver Info…. www.irasprints.com, www.wisconsinwingless.com, and www.iralightningsprints.com.
All drivers running for points MUST purchase the GOLD Membership. This includes a $100,000 Excess Medical Insurance Policy thru K&K Insurance. If a OWNER who uses multiple drivers, none of whom will reach the 80% point fund participation eligibility, but wants to run for Owner Points, the Owner then MUST have a GOLD Membership. We suggest this membership for part-time IRA racers too, that want the additional medical insurance coverage. If purchased before April 1, a 410 or wingLESS GOLD Membership is $200.
Lightning Sprint GOLD Memberships are discounted to $150 til April 1st.
GOLD Memberships purchased AFTER April 1 will cost $250.
STANDARD Memberships are also discounted til April 1. These memberships are $50. These memberships are for non-point chasing drivers, owners, crew members, and even fans.
STANDARD Memberships purchased AFTER April 1 will cost $75.
ALL IRA card carrying members, GOLD or STANDARD, will typically NOT pay more than $25 for a pit pass (though there may be a special circumstance where that is not the case).
Memberships are what this sanction uses to purchase and maintain equipment, purchase additional medical insurance for our GOLD members, purchase workers comp insurance for our staff, purchase insurance for our trailers and equipment, etc. Memberships and Sponsorships are our only forms of income, and we can proudly say all sponsorships (every penny) have all gone to the racers, in an event purse increase or point fund. There is definitely an advantage to being a member.
