Memorial Day Weekend Racing

Memorial weekend is a busy one for IRA's 3-divisions. Friday has the winged 410 Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam. Saturday the AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints will be at Wilmot Raceway. Sunday has all 3 of IRA's divisions at the 141 Speedway as the winged 410's, wingLESS, and IRA Lightning Sprints are all on the card. This past Saturday May 22nd had Mike Reinke topping a 26 car Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series field, while 2020 AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints Rookie of the Year Ryan Marshall captured his first career sprint feature win at Wilmot Raceway over a 39 car field. The IRA Lightning Sprints had the weekend off. In 14 IRA sanctioned races to date, there has not been a repeat winner as Bill Balog, Carson Short, Brooke Tatnell, Kyle Reinhardt, and Reinke have visited 410 victory lane. On the wingLESS side, Derek Crane, Chris Klemko, Tim Cox, Ryan Zielski, Jimmy Sivia, and Marshall have all topped large fields to score wins. And CJ Maleug, Mark Heinert, and Nick Petska have scored IRA Lightning Sprint wins to date. 14 races, 14 different winners. The 410's have had a high car count of 31 and a low of 25, wingLESS 42 and 32, and Lightning Sprints 19 and 16. Ultra-competitive racing in all 3 IRA classes to date, 14 races with 14 different winners!
