Triple Header for Labor Day Weekend
The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series fell victim to a torrential rain storm just prior to going track-side at the Dirt Oval @ Route 66 (Joliet, IL), washing out the 10th annual Bill Waite Jr Memorial. Teams from 6 states were on hand. The series moves on to a trio of Wisconsin dates this Labor Day weekend Sept 3-5. Friday is the annual Harry Neitzel Tribute at the Dodge County Fairgrounds. Saturday is the Sheboygan County Fair race at the Plymouth Dirt Track. Sunday is the Hopf Farms Bullring Showdown Finale at 141 Speedway. All 3 tracks are within close proximity with festive atmospheres. The MSA/PDTR 360 Sprints also compete as part of the program at Dodge and Plymouth. This is a spectacular Wisconsin Sprint Car weekend, Race Wisconsibly! Jake Blackhurst leads Scotty Neitzel in a good championship points battle, while Jeremy Schultz, Russ Borland, and Rob Pribnow round out the top five. IRA is part of the FloSportsTv family.
