IRA Sprints (Steve Sinclair) Nominated for Auto Racing Promoter of the Year

The IRA is extremely proud and humbled to be announced as a RPM Regional Promoter of the Year nominee, something very rare for a series as nominations traditionally go to individual race track operators. This is our 3rd consecutive nomination, the most of any series. There is only 1 other series nominated nationwide and it's the CARS pavement Late Model Tour which includes Dale Jr and Kevin Harvick in its ownership team, that is some pretty good company.

Regional winners will be announced Feb 12th with the overall RPM Auto Racing Promoter of the Year being announced Feb 13th in Daytona. It takes a team to run a good show and we're extremely proud of ours. The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint, AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints powered by Gandrud, and IRA Lightning Sprints make up our three division sanction.

Voting can be found here: Vote Here

As well for track operators or promoters who are reading this if you are interested in attending RPM Dayton coming up on 2/12 and 2/13 you can view more information on the RPM website as well as register to attend.

IRA is very unique in regards to what we bring to an event, and very promoter friendly. Our Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series is fully inclusive as we bring full staff, including competition director, timing & scoring, additional fire/safety, flagman, announcers, tech, scales, and pit personnel, our own streaming production crew, a souvenir sales team who handles most of our drivers merch along with the series merch and on a few rare instances even our own track prep specialist. Additionally we have some dedicated staff for our other series as well.

Something of note on our event streaming for all Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series events is that we are making a conscious effort to not only promote our event and series but also to promote the facilities that we are going to. We want to show people what they are missing by not going to these facility and in some case try to help some case some of the nicest facilities in the Midwest. We want to showcase things like food, parking, ease of entry, bathrooms, paved walking areas, clean facilities ECT. We know how important it is for our tracks to get more people in the stands and this is our effort to help them.

We are extremely proud of all 3 series, the show they put on, and the large number of extremely talented racers who choose to follow us. It's definitely a team effort. We sanction approximately 75 races a season between the three divisions. The many relationships we've made over the years are special, and long term. We're blessed to have so many outstanding venues to race at in our growing market.

Thanks to all that have supported us over the years. While established in 1966, the series has endured and prospered through the years, with the past few years being particularly outstanding. We are in the midst of finalizing our 2024 schedules, have our title sponsors in place, and are thrilled with the many teams that have indicated their support, in all 3 classes, for 2024.
