Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints

Weekend Winners and Up Next...

The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series, AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints Series powered by Gandrud Performance Parts, and the 1175 Sports Park & Eatery IRA Lightning Sprints all competed this past weekend.

Jake Neuman topped a very exciting night in front of a big crowd at the Sycamore Speedway in Northern Illinois, winning the 30 lap Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints headliner. Neuman earned $4000 for his efforts, topping Travis Arenz, Jake Blackhurst, Scotty Thiel, and Jordan Goldesberry. Blake Nimee set fast time over the 28 car field with Blackhurt, Arenz, and Max Guilford taking heats, Thiel and Nimee the Dashes, and Will Gerrits the B. Preston Perlmutter was the Hard Charger with a plus 9.

Teenager, Brian Strane Jr won his first IRA Lightning Sprint main event in a support class role at Sycamore, topping Tim Brannam and Mark Heinert in a thriller. Nick Petska and Brannam won heats, while Petska set quick time. Chad Stoutthamer was Hard Charger with a plus 6.

Rusty Egan edged Jimmy Sivia in a last lap thriller in a cowboy up AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprint Series powered by Gandrud feature at the Wilmot Raceway Saturday. Zach Raidart, Ryan Marshall, and Johnny Fahl completed the top 5. George Gaertner Jr was the Hard Charger with a plus 9. Marshall, Tim Cox, and Fahl won heats, while Tyler Kuxhouse led qualifying over the 25 car field, Wilmot's largest car count class of the night.

The IRA winged 410's, and wingLESS class will be together at the Plymouth Dirt Track this Saturday for the Spring Sprintacular and Round 1 of the Hopf Farms Bullring Showdown, and then the 410's will head over to the historic Angell Park Speedway Sunday for the season opener at the historic venue, and special tribute to the Dahlke Family. The Lightning Sprints have an off weekend.
