PREVIEW: Road America Challenge June 8th 2024

Road America Challenge Preview

The “Best of the Upper Midwest” return to Plymouth, WI this weekend for the 4th Annual Road America Challenge. This one of a kind event brings together the dirt track and road course worlds for a night of racing on one of Wisconsin’s baddest bullrings, just a stone’s throw from Road America itself.

In 2023 the Road America Challenge saw one of the best finishes in IRA history, with Brenham Crouch, Greg Wilson, Joel Myers Jr. and Bill Balog all with a chance to win on the final lap. In the final corner, Wilson dove low and took the win from Crouch by just 26 thousandths of a second at the line. The previous 2 Road America Challenge events were won by “The North Pole Nightmare” Bill Balog over Jake Neuman and Jake Blackhurst in 2022 and 2021, respectively.

This year’s event will provide an IndyCar flare, with an autograph session set to take place from 5PM-6PM on race day. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet with IndyCar stars Graham Rahal, Pietro Fittipaldi and Christian Lundgaard along with several IRA Sprints drivers.

Tickets can be purchased in advance here: https://www.myracepass.com/series/1012/tickets/1393284

If you are unable to make it to the track for this fantastic event, the entire night will be broadcast live on FloRacing.
