Goldesberry Looks Ahead to Indiana Invasion with IRA Sprints

This past Saturday night was a night to forget for the Jordan Goldesberry Motorsports team with a bleeder issue and a spin in the IRA feature at Wilmot derailing what was looking to be another solid finish.

“I think we were close to the Top 10 before an early red flag.” Goldesberry stated. “Under red a bleeder insert broke and the tire lost all air. We got it changed in the work area and were working our way back through the field when we got tangled up with another car and went to the tail again.”

After a whirlwind of a feature, Goldesberry still managed to salvage a 13th place finish.

“Definitely looking forward to hitting the reset button this week and getting to Indiana.” Goldesberry said of the coming “Maverick Mayhem Week” in the Hoosier State. “I’ve never been to Lincoln Park or Bloomington and it’s been a while since I’ve seen Haubstadt and Terre Haute so it’s going to be a fun week getting back there and seeing some new places.”

The IRA will be in co-sanctioned action with the Maverick Winged Outlaw Sprints, and with a stout purse of $6,000 to win each night, a strong field of cars is expected from the Midwest and beyond. The week will kick off Thursday night at the Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, IN, continue Friday and Saturday at Bloomington and Tri-State Speedway and conclude Sunday at the Terre Haute Action Track.

Tickets for this weekend’s events will be available at the track on race day, and as always the entire night will be broadcast LIVE on FloRacing.
