Learning and Growing: Ruh Racing's July Update
Preston Ruh Racing continues onto a busy 2024 season. This past weekend, the team competed at Beaver Dam Raceway with the Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Car series. Ruh qualified for the feature and finished 15th overall in the night. The team is continuing to learn throughout the course of the night with a new chassis and motor. They’ll try to back up this performance at the scheduled rain date with the World of Outlaws July 10th for $1200 to start the feature.
The month of July gets busy for the Ruh Crew. Starting on Thursday for the 4th of July the team heads down to join sponsor FlyRite LLC in their Cedarburg 4th of July Parade. The team will join FlyRite LLC through historic downtown Cedarburg starting at 10am. We’d love to see everyone come out for the event and check out what FlyRite has in store for the Holiday.
Next, the team will compete in the rain date with the World of Outlaws at the Beaver Dam Raceway on Wednesday July 10th. The team will clean the race car and park it for the weekend to go camping for the Wilmot Raceway Badger 40. Sunday July 14th the team will be at Gracie Cleveland’s Benefit at Big Mike's Sports Bar and Grill. There will be burgers, Brats, chips and baked goods.. Raffles, 50/50 raffles and a DJ from 1-4pm. The event will start at noon! We hope to see the racing community there to support one of our own.
During the weekend where the IRA Sprint Car Series travels out of state, we will be making improvements to our truck and trailer. Our trailer is getting some new lights and stereos put in it, and our truck is in need of some new valves.
