Pokorski posts second straight Plymouth 360 Sprint Car podium run

(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) June 10, 2025 – Since engaging in a foray back into the seat of 360 Sprint Car, Alex Pokorski has hit the ground running. On Friday, June 6, Pokorski racked up his second consecutive podium showing behind the wheel of his Akright Auto-backed No. 4 machine in Akright Auto Plymouth Dirt Track Racing 360 Sprint Car action at The Plymouth Dirt Track.

Before a sellout crowd on hand to witness the return of the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series to The Plymouth Dirt Track for the first time in 20 years, Pokorski opened the night by qualifying fourth in the 22-car PDTR 360 Sprint Car field with a lap of 13.068 seconds.

After placing fourth in the third PDTR 360 Sprint Car heat race, the fifth-year Sprint Car racer earned the 10th starting spot in the 25-lap main event.

The first 22 laps of the event included fourth caution flags, which left Pokorski fifth in the running order for the final restart of the race. The West Bend native used a strong restart to vault past Brandon Berth and Tristan Furseth along the high groove of the well-manicured racing surface.

Pokorski maintained the third spot in the final circuits to secure his second straight third-place run in PDTR 360 Sprint Car competition.

Pokorski will compete with the Akright Auto Plymouth Dirt Track Racing 360 Sprint Cars again this Saturday, June 14, at The Plymouth Dirt Track.

Spectator gates open at 4:30 p.m. with qualifying at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6 p.m.
