Thram finds top-ten with IRA at Cedar Lake; Clay County ahead

Christopher Thram's Friday night visit to Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, concluded near the top of the running order, finishing eighth in the IRA Outlaw Sprint Series program with nearly 50 entries making the call. In fact, Thram, who calls Sanborn, Minnesota, home, the IRA top-ten was the product of a fantastic preliminary effort, launching his evening with the second-fastest qualifying time within his respective group, racing on to finish fourth in the second of four heat races. An eventual dash victory would put Thram on the pole for the 30-lap A-Main.

Christopher Thram will continue his September slate with a visit to Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, on Friday, September 12.
