Hartmann traverses challenging 2025 campaign
(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) November 26, 2025 – It took a stiff upper lip for Austin Hartmann and the members of the 87A Hartmann Racing Team to plow through an assortment of mechanical maladies with dogged determination during the 2025 racing season.
The Plymouth, Wis. driver’s fourth foray behind the wheel of a 410 Sprint Car got off to a bumpy start with a string of motor issues to start the year.
Despite the setbacks, Hartmann rallied to tally four top-10 main event finishes, including a season-best seventh-place run at Beaver Dam Raceway on July 27.
In addition, Hartmann earned his second career fast qualifier award in a Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association 410 Sprint Car event at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wis., on May 25.
The 87A Hartmann Racing Team raced a diversified schedule in 2025, competing 16 times with the IRA, while also entering a total of 10 additional events sanctioned by the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws, Kubota High Limit Racing, and Midwest Open Wheel Association. The team also made its Knoxville Raceway debut on July 19.
Hartmann wrapped up the 2025 season with a solid 10th-place run in the Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships at The Plymouth Dirt Track on Sept. 27 to secure an 18th-place showing in the final IRA point standings.
The Plymouth, Wis. driver completed the 2025 campaign with four top-10 main event showings, one B main victory, four IRA dash appearances, and one fast qualifier award in 27 events.
“With everything we dealt with during the season, it was good to end it on a solid note,” Hartmann said following a top-10 showing in the team’s 2025 season finale at Plymouth.
